The Challenge
Laura contacted me a little while after engaging another company to produce her website. She was unhappy with the level of service given by the other company, and had been left with an incomplete website that wasn’t delivering what her business needed.
The Process
Easy editing
Wix was chosen as the new platform to host the Pawsitive Intentions website. Not only is it an affordable solution for small businesses, it has been designed with user friendliness in mind. When scoping out Lauras requirements, we were sure to understand which bits of the site Laura would need to frequently edit or add to. These areas were then built specifically to be straightforward and simple to edit. We implemented dynamic pages on the site, which means that all Laura has to do to add a class or workshop is fill in a table, the design then fit’s itself neatly into a template we created specifically for Laura. Easy!
A long term solution
Although the website was now functioning so business could continue, it wasn’t suitable for Pawsitive Intentions over the longer term. The platform was hard for Laura to use, and the costs were unnecessarily high. Laura made the brave decision to start over with a new build on an eminently more suitable platform
Website rescue
Effortless Websites worked with Laura to understand what it was she wanted from the site, and where the site was falling short and not delivering what she had requested from the original designer. We first worked on some emergency repairs to complete the current site, adding the functionality it needed, a user friendly navigation, and a stronger visual appeal.
