Julie had previously run popular bricks & mortar pet care store Fido & Felix. After relocation, Julie was ready to open the store as an ecommerce venture, under its new identity of Fido’s Favourites. Effortless Websites was engaged to produce the branding, website and ecommerce training needed to get the venture set up ready for future success.
The Process
Scope to grow
Once she’s got to grips with the ecommerce essentials, Julie has plans to grow Fido’s Favourites and expand her product selection to include some customisable options for her customers. Wix is a great base to do this from as it offers an easy to use platform, with plenty of scope to grow and support a huge ecomm enterprise.
Easy to update
Julie was keen to do her website editing herself, and got stuck straight in to editing and adding products. Wix was chosen for this project due to how user friendly it is, and it was wonderful that Julie commented “oh that was much easier than I was expecting” throughout the journey.
An introduction to ecommerce
Although Julie had years of experience running a successful store, she was new to the world of ecommerce. Effortless Websites drew on Fiona’s ecommerce experience to offer insight, guidance and training on all things ecommerce, plus helpful direction and signposting to reliable online spaces where Julie could further her knowledge and marketing plans.
